As tile deliveries are bigger and heavier than most of your online deliveries, we have produced a delivery guide with lots of useful information to help you with your delivery.
Costs of Delivery
Deliveries are free to UK Mainland on orders over £500. If your order is under £500 a delivery fee will be charged and this will be based on (1) Your delivery location and (2) the volume and weight of your order. The cost of delivery will be shown clearly in the checkout process. Parcel delivery prices will vary depending on size and weight of order. Pallet deliveries are charged at £50 per pallet.
Kerbside Deliveries
A pallet delivery is not the same as a parcel delivery. Pallet deliveries are a kerbside only service, and products will not be moved inside a property. Orders can be heavy - particularly tiles, so please ensure that you have appropriate resources for unpacking and moving your purchases to an internal location.
Delivery Services - Pallets
Pallet Deliveries are generally made between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Because of the nature of pallet deliveries, the carriers are rarely able to give a narrow delivery window. You will be informed of the date of delivery, but it is unlikely that we will be able to inform you in advance of an expected time.
Our own vehicles - If your delivery location is in the Central Belt of Scotland, then you are most likely to receive delivery via our own vehicles and staff.
Pallet Delivery Services - These are used when the delivery location is outside of our normal delivery routes, or if the delivery date specified is before our next scheduled run.
Parcel/Courier Deliveries
If your order is under 50kg, we may choose to dispatch your order via a parcel service. Your order may be split over a number of boxes to maximise easy lifting, and the parcel stickers will identify how many boxes form part of your delivery. Please ensure that you have confirmed receipt of all boxes before signing for your delivery.
Deliveries are typically made between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, however some parcel networks may attempt delivery outside of these times, particularly during peak weeks.
UK Mainland
The UK Mainland excludes the following; The Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish offshore islands. If you are unsure if your address falls into the UK mainland, please email info@collinson-ceramics.co.uk.
Please check your order on Receipt
Please always check your order on receipt, even if you may not be planning on using the products for a few weeks. Tiles are made in batches, and colour and finish may vary slightly between batches. We will always dispatch your complete order from the same batch. However if damages or problems are not reported promptly we cannot guarantee that we will be able to replace tiles from the same batch.
