Circular production

Fired and unfired production scrap is recovered and reused, while process water is fully recovered. Product packaging is 100% recyclable and is composed of 80% recycled cardboard and plastic.

Energy and emissions

Heat from industrial kilns is recovered within production. The Finale Emilia plant has a 35,000 m² photovoltaic installation producing more than 4 GWh annually; plants use 100% LED lighting, while advanced filtration helps contain atmospheric emissions and odours.

Healthier indoor environments

Atlas Concorde states that its products are free from lead, cadmium and heavy metals and do not release VOCs during use. GREENGUARD Gold certification provides recognised evidence of compliance with stringent indoor VOC-emissions limits.

Evidence for responsible specification

Atlas Concorde operates an ISO 14001 environmental management system. All collections satisfy ISO 17889-1 for ceramic-tile sustainability, with a published result of 128/130. EPD, PEF, FDES and Declare documentation can support project assessments including LEED, WELL and BREEAM. Its 2025 EcoVadis Silver Medal score of 73/100 placed Atlas Concorde in the top 7% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide.
